Three Little Pigs Opera

We listened to some amazing voices from the Minnesota Concert Opera's Bravo Singers this afternoon. They explained the differences between a soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor and baritone.  The mezzo-soprano sang an aria from Carmen too!  We also learned that aria is a fancy opera word for song.  Check here for pictures from a performance similar to the one we saw today.

The story of The Three Little Pigs in opera form was fun and inspiring!  The Bravo Singers visit about six schools a year, so we feel grateful to our music department for the great opportunity!

And to help us think about warmer weather....
