What a wonderful community of learners we have this year!
We started Writers' Workshop this week with "Talk Time--" opportunities for children to orally tell stories to their writing partner. After looking at the books in the book corner, we talked about how writers often tell their stories out loud and visualize their stories before putting them to paper. We then began sketching out our stories.
We began exploring our book bins and reading as well.
