The QUIET Revolution

Parenting Quiet Kids

Announcing a complimentary online course for parents of 3 to 9 year olds offered exclusively to Breck School’s community!

Quiet Revolution, co-founded by Susan Cain, best-selling author of Quiet: The Power of Introverts in A World That Can’t Stop Talking, is pleased to be partnering with the Breck School during the 2016/2017 school year.  Our Quiet Schools Network is dedicated to ensuring the next generation of quiet children grow up knowing their temperament can be a source of confidence and strength versus something to be overcome.

Does your child think more than talk? Show great focus while working alone but become inhibited in front of big groups? Talk freely one-on-one but is reluctant to participate in class discussions? Appear shy but is bursting with creativity and passion?  The Parenting Quiet Kids online course can help. Quiet Revolution is therefore pleased to offer –exclusively for the parent communities of our Quiet Schools Network partners – complimentary access to our interactive one-of-a-kind online course designed for parents of quiet children aged 3 to 9.

For free access just for Breck School’s parent community, go to:
learn.quietrev.com/redeem and use this code: breck2016

Through a series of videos, interactive activities, personal stories, and real-life situations, you’ll discover with the Parenting Quiet Kids course:
--Insights about how introverts differ from extroverts, and how those differences influence the way your child experiences school, social situations, relationships and more.
--Important differences between shyness and introversion.
--How the world appears to your introverted child – and what you as a parent can do to be supportive.
-- The right—and wrong—approaches to helping quiet children navigate social environments.
-- The best ways to help introverted children discover and use their inner strengths.

Please also enjoy the Course’s message board to share experiences with other parents from your school and those of the extended Quiet Schools Network community.

Welcome to our parent community!
